HEY! I just finished playing through your game "Jack" !

It had a really interesting and unique world for a mostly story based game. My only gripe is the move speed is way, way too slow. Maybe 1.5 / 2x faster would be perfect, especially for a gamejam game, in my opinion. The combat section caught me off guard, but in a good way and was pretty tense while I was searching for the last enemy.

I love the music and art direction for this game, would love to see future projects from you!

Lovely! Thank you for playing!

Critique duly noted, and I agree. I had such a hard time deciding wether or not to make a run command because it felt almost cruel to have people limper around like this. But! Then I thought, in my pretensions, that maybe it feels more in touch with the format? Janky 1bit movement that is tilebased.

Now, I think I will put some more oomph to Jacks step when the jam period is over.

Also, thank you thank you for the encouragement!

Maybe you could explain it away as Jack being ill / recovering from something like amnesia, but yeah I look forwards to future games~!

Oooh, nice! I do feel like all the living organisms in this particular world would be a little... ill-ish. Appended to lore! But if it impacts negatively on the  game play experience I should be a big girl and adress it accordingly.

And I shall force myself into  more gamejams to motivate myself into bringing more games into the world.

And also looking forward to more Grim Gauntlet Adventure Time!

Looking forward to this one!

I am, oh, so happy to hear that!
